Viineet Kumar Siingh On SRK’s Mannat
In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Viineet Kumar Singh talks about buying a house and SRK’s Mannat. He says, “Uske peeche na, Shah Rukh Khan ka joh ghar hai, Mannat. Main Mannat ko sirf ghar nahi maanta, Mannat laakhon ki himmat hai. Koi bhi joh yeh sheher me ek ummed se aate hai aur woh sochte hai ki, unki bhi ek chhat ho. Unka bhi ek zameen ka tukda ho chahe, kahi bhi ho sheher me. Toh woh kahi na kahi ek hausla deta hai. Toh main Mannat ko aise dekhte hu, ki woh sirf unhone ghar nahi banaya hai, unhone Mannat bana ke logo ko himmat di hai.” (“Behind that, you know, Shah Rukh Khan’s house, Mannat—I don’t just see Mannat as a house. Mannat is the courage of millions. Anyone who comes to this city with hope and dreams of having a roof over their head, even a small piece of land somewhere in this city, finds inspiration in it. So, the way I see Mannat is that it’s not just a house he has built; by building Mannat and he has given people courage and hope.”)
Viineet On Trying Till You Succeed
He continued “Aap agar sapne dekhte ho aur laage rehete ho, aur kai baar low bhi feel karte ho life me lekin, it’s fine kyuki hum insaan hai, hamesha hum joh chahe woh nahi hota, upar wala aapne hisab se screenplay likhta hai. Lekin bas himmat se lage rahiye, sapne dekhiye, koshish karte rahiye aur… ho jaata hai. Woh joh Mannat hai, mai baar baar keh raha hu, woh sapne dekhne ke liye ek pramaan hai.” (“If you have dreams and keep working towards them, there will be times when you feel low, but that’s okay because we are human. Things don’t always go as we wish; the Almighty writes the screenplay in His own way. That Mannat, I keep saying, is proof that dreams do come true.”)
